Koos Bekker, CEO of the multinational media group Naspers Ltd bought the 590 acres in South Africa’s Drakenstein Valley and along with Karen Roos, editor of South Africa’s Elle Decoration, transformed it into South Africa's Versailles.

After our scooter trip, we made our way to the Queen's Staircase, commonly referred to as the 66 steps. It is a major landmark that is located in the Fort Fincastle Historic Complex in Nassau. On scooters in Nassau, Bahamas
Stepping down from our Royal Caribbean cruise ship, Enchantment, we decided to explore the city of Nassau on scooters. Nassau is the capital, largest city, and commercial centre of the Commonwealth of the Bahamas.
We were six people, two couples and then Isabel and myself. Even though the age difference between Isabel and myself, we have a special connection and were happy to take on this romantic trip together on a scooter in the Bahamas.
