Babylonstoren near Paarl is most certainly one of my favorite places to visit in the Western Cape. Koos Bekker, CEO of the multinational media group Naspers Ltd bought the 590 acres in South Africa’s Drakenstein Valley and along with Karen Roos, editor of South Africa’s Elle Decoration, transformed it into South Africa's Versailles.
