I know, I took very few photos of the actual ship, but I had too much of a good time to be carrying around a heavy camera. Every year our company runs an all expenses paid travel incentive, and this time it was a four night trip onboard the Enchantment of the Seas, a Royal Caribbean cruise ship. We boarded at Cape Canaveral and headed toward the Bahamas.
A twelve story ship with 2,700 people. If you don't agree a time and place to meet your friends, you may never see them for the whole trip! The next day we stopped over at Coco Kay, a small Island owned by the Royal Caribbean company and the next day in Nassau, the capital, largest city, and commercial centre of the Commonwealth of the Bahamas.
I was pleasantly surprised by the whole experience. The layout of the ship and various things to do is so well planned that you never feel that it is too crowded. And the fact that the ship docks at various locations, allows for a change of scenery, but with the peace of mind that your home is awaiting your return, ready to take you to a new destination the following day.
I will present a series of blog posts to capture some of the highlights from our trip. I hope you enjoy!
