The sky's ablaze with amber gold and tangerine zeal. The unwieldy ocean mass eagerly anticipate its union with the crimson orb suspended in the sky.
Scores of humans are gathered to witness this intimate dance of water and fire, of two celestial objects sundered 90 million miles apart, but unified briefly in our field of view.
The alterity of this terrain beyond the Sea Point promenade, beyond the rocks where Darwin stood in 1836, awakens the oneiric, and the human subjects are rendered speechless as the sinking sun whispers:
“Speak... only if you can improve the silence.”
